How to get your file
NoCap Edge reads a report file, not a screenshot. Pick what you have, follow the steps, then drop the file on the home page. Free, no sign-up. Accepted: HTML, Excel (.xlsx), CSV, or a Telegram export (result.json), up to 15 MB.
MT5 statement (your trades)
Toolbox›History tab›right-click›Report
- Open the Toolbox (View → Toolbox) and click the History tab.
- Set the period you want checked (right-click for the period options).
- Right-click inside the list and choose Report. It opens as an HTML page; save that page.
Confirmed on MetaQuotes' help pages: “Report” in the context menu of the History tab, HTML output. The period options and the save step are not confirmed from MetaQuotes' pages; menus differ by build.
MT4 statement (your trades)
Terminal›Account History tab›right-click›Save as Report
- Open the Terminal window (View → Terminal) and click Account History.
- Right-click and pick the period (all history, last 3 months, or a custom period).
- Right-click again and choose Save as Report (or Save as Detailed Report), then save the HTML file.
Not confirmed: MetaQuotes' MT4 help pages don't describe this tab, so these names come from common MT4 builds; not confirmed from MetaQuotes' pages; menus differ by build.
MT4 Strategy Tester backtest report
Strategy Tester›Results tab›right-click›Save as Report
- Run your test in the Strategy Tester. When it ends, open the Results tab (the tabs are Results, Graph, Report, Journal).
- Right-click in Results and choose Save as Report. It saves an HTML file; upload that file.
Confirmed on MetaQuotes' help pages: the tester has Results, Graph, Report and Journal tabs, and the report can be saved to disk as HTML. Their page words the command both as “Save as Report” and “Copy as Report”; use whichever you see. The save folder is not confirmed from MetaQuotes' pages; menus differ by build.
MT5 Strategy Tester backtest report
Strategy Tester›Result tab›right-click›Report
- When the test finishes, open the results tab of the Strategy Tester.
- Right-click in the results and look for Report (usually HTML or Excel/XML). Save it.
Not confirmed: MetaQuotes' tester pages name the Result and Graph tabs but don't list the export command; not confirmed from MetaQuotes' pages; menus differ by build.
Excel or CSV
An .xlsx report from your platform works as it is. A CSV needs one row per closed trade with these columns:
close_time, symbol, side, volume, profit. See the example CSV.
If Excel saved it as “Unicode Text”, use Save As → CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited).
Telegram channel? In Telegram Desktop open the channel → ⋮ → Export chat history → untick media → choose JSON, then upload result.json.
On a phone
We haven't confirmed that the MT4 or MT5 phone apps can export a report. The simple route is your broker's client area or emailed statement, or doing it once on a computer. A bot's seller should give you the full report, not a screenshot.
