Prop firm challenge calculator
Thousands of simulated challenges: how often you'd pass, and how often a loss limit would end it.
What it assumes
- Each trade either wins (risk × reward to risk) or loses (risk), worked out on the starting balance, and doesn't depend on the trade before.
- The max loss is fixed from the starting balance (not trailing). The daily limit is measured from the balance at the start of each day.
- Limits are checked on closed trades. Many firms measure them on equity, including open trades, and add spread and commission, so real odds are usually worse than shown here.
- Same numbers, same answer: the simulation uses a fixed random seed.
Every firm words and measures its rules differently. Read your own firm's rules.
Use your real trades instead
A win rate you hope for isn't a record. Drop your MT4 or MT5 history on NoCap Edge and use **Would it pass a prop-firm challenge? and Blow-up odds** on the trades you actually took. More in the prop firm challenge guide.
